This is a fabulous, vintage (early 1900’s) pair of woman’s, size 7, ivory/off
white, leather, granny, lace-up, oxford shoes. There is no makers label, but
they are definitely a superior, quality-made pair of shoes. They are a
spectator, style shoe constructed with a combination of genuine leather and
synthetic mesh. They have a 2.5 inch high, leather heel and original laces. The
soles are made of leather and are unusually thick measuring 1/4 inch. They have
been gently used and are in very, good, vintage condition both inside and
outside. They do have expected, minor scuffs and there is 1 small spot at the
bottom of the tongue which is not really that noticeable due to its location.
Although the label says they are a size 7, it does not necessarily mean they
are a size 7 as shoe sizes have changed over the years. I always wear a size 8
shoe and I was very surprised that I was able to put these on and be quite
comfortable in them with great flexibility. It is rare to find a pair of these
shoes in such good shape especially in ivory. I believe this type of shoe has
recently made a comeback, so these would make a good addition to your summer
wardrobe. Please go by the measurements listed below and keep in mind that
shoes are a very personal fit which I cannot guarantee so please be aware of
that before purchasing as these shoes are NOT returnable. A signature will be
required upon delivery.
