I just love these 1920s shoes, they are both practical and stylish and have a
punched, brogue style design and chisel toe.
The reddish brown leather upper fasten with single buttons on the straps. The
soles are stamped ‘Girl graduate’.
These shoes are Deadstock and they have never been worn. The soles are leather
and they have some sort of plastic as a heel cap to the stacked leather. I’ve
not seen this before on such early shoes, but it’s definitely original. I have
a few pairs from the same era from the same collection of old factory stock and
they all have plastic or rubber heel caps.
Unworn condition with just a few light scuffs and grazes from storage.
I estimate these are a size 3-3.5, please note, the extended toe gives a false
internal measurement as the full length isn’t usable. Please compare the
measurements to a similar shaped shoe in your size.
I JUST squeezed in my fairly narrow size 4 1/2 foot and I could anywhere near
fasten the strap.
2 7/8 inches across the ball of the foot
5 inches across the vamp
9 3/4 inches along the insole
1 1/2 inch heel
